The Hill Turn I was in Fremont, California, and this picture was taken on Mission Peak hills on a foggy early morning. This is part of a personal series based on couples. Can someone get the pun in the title of the photo? ;)

I took this picture in Camden, London. I was passing by this old shop anwhich had a rear window that allowed me to see inside. There was this young boy completely mesmerized by the moltitude of the objects surrounding him. This moment reminded me of the "Neverending Story" when the main character Bastian runs away from the bullies chasing after him and finds a safe shelter into that library where he will find the magic book.

A study on the concept of loneliness: landscapes and human silhouettes lose their identity and let the concept become the main subject. The photos were taken in California during august 2011, taking advantage of the famous fog of California's summer. The body of work is made of pictures shot in the whole area of the bay from San Francisco to Fremont, from Big Basin Redwoods to Point Reyes bay plus one in Milan.

The best pictures happen when you less expect them. I was sitting in a restaurant for a late dinner with my beloved one and right in front of me there was this smart dressed man looking out of the large window pane: a very "Hopperesque" picture imho. Luckily I had my camera with me or I would have regretted it for much too long!

London, Natural History Museum. This woman was kinda like a scene from an old oil painting: she was sitting on that bench and drawing something exposed into a showcase which now I can't actually recall. I couldn't miss the opportunity to take a picture of her.

I was visiting the island of Alcatraz and its sadly famous prison. This couple was looking out of the window towards the coast of San Francisco, showing up in the distance through a thick blanket of fog. It kinda gives you thrills to think that in that precise spot someone else, in another time, had been looking to the same coast with much different feelings and dreams.
