4/13 I believe that Babakumuru resembles a Paralympic athlete. All Paralympic athletes have a disability, which people believe stopped them from ever doing anything. The athletes don't let this stop them, and go on to thrive. Babakumuru has the disability of coming from poverty. Yet, he does not let that rule over his life. He thrives among the whites and reaches his dreams.

This picture was surprising to me at first. I was surprised when there was not a leg where one used to be, just blank space. But by appearance of strength in the rest of her body, you can tell the loss hasn't faltered her determination and passion for her sport.
