Waiting for the Winch ~ Linocut ~ HJ Jackson ~ I cut my first piece of lino and produced a small single colour print during my last months at school in 1953. At the time, I had no way of knowing that 60 years later I would still be printmaking. ~ The disappearing railway, old houses and streets about to make way for the developer; and what was to become my main inspiration, the declining fishing industry.
