Walking towards our car. Before leaving we enjoyed strolling along the town walls. Ciao, Serra de' Conti. See you again!
Ex-convent of Saint Francis (14th-16th century). The cloister is the most attractive part of the building. The convent is now the seat of Serra de' Conti town hall.
Porta della CROCE, cross gate (14th-15th century)
View from the town of Serra de' Conti. A beautiful countryside and lovely hills sorrounds the fortress.

About to leave Serra de' Conti. Sunset from outside the town walls.
View from the Monastery of Santa Maria Maddalena (16th-18th century)
(will ask Daniele what this is. he has taken several photos from Serra de' Conti towards the sorrounding areas.)
Civic Tower (19th century). It houses two ancient bells from the 15th century.
Porta della Croce, cross gate, inside door (13th century). The deposition is contemporary. The original fresco dating 17th century was detached and located in the Chiesa di Santa Croce.
View from Serra de' Conti. We were on the balcony near Porta della Croce, Cross Gate.
