Victorian dining room 1890's
there must be a crazy alchemist lurking in my personality somewhere...because these shelves and cabinets make me very happy
This Victorian-style library is cozy and inviting, with rich wood bookcases and paneling, jewel-toned, comfortable furnishings and a fireplace to make a warm spot for curling up with a good book.
Natural light, while anathema to the archetype of the cozy Victorian study I have in my mind, would probably be a good idea.
... Fireplace, Biltmore Estate ... I am so in love with this. Could you imagine a giant Christmas tree with antique decorations and presents next to it?
What I love most about these kinds of libraries is the wood tones, both of the woods and of the books.
A cool depiction of Homles' apartment at The Sherlock Holmes Museum in London. Want to go there one day soon.
Flourish and Blotts!
My study. (I wish)
