Something we liked from Instagram! 3D printer machined X carriage for a full-metal hotend. Top and bottom slots were made with a 9/16" 2-flute TiN coated endmill from #grizzlyindustrial. These measure .563" and the linear bearings measure 0.570". So I enlarged the slot to slightly under that to provide a press-fit. The top belt slot has an 8-32 set screw to secure the belt-drive to the carriage with a pass-through countersunk hole at the top to put in the set screw. The bottom slot (roughly .40"
