Tutankhamun pectoral with solar and lunar elements. Cloisonné with carnelian, lapis lazuli, calcite, obsidian and coloured glass. At its centre is a chalcedony scarab, which has falcon legs and talons.
This is easily my favourite piece of Art from Egypt or any where else. This is the Throne of Tutankhamun and the beautiful image depicts the Boy-King and his Queen Ankhesenamun in a touching moment. The young Queen is helping her husband to adjust his collar. The King reclines casually on his seat and the two seem completely at ease with eachother.
