La Scala Santa (The Holy Stairs) in Rome, Italy. The 28 marble steps are said to be those that Christ ascended in Pontius Pilate's palace during His trial. They were brought to Rome by St. Helena, Constantine's mother. No foot can touch the Holy Stairs so they are covered with wooden boards for protection. I crawled up those on my knees a few years ago. Didn't think I was going to make it.
