Jeweler Britta Boeckmann doesn't have a plan when she designs her wood-fragment and resin accessories. Instead, she uses the natural form of the wood fragments to define the shape, fusing them with colored and sometimes glow-in-the-dark resin to make her jewelry. Boeckmann then smooths each piece with sandpaper and applies varnish to give it lustre.

The artist drew his inspiration from the phenomenon of trees’ self-healing which suffer and produce automatically resin. Handmade accessories with pastel colors
