René Magritte. Surreal, or real? Don't we all put masks on every day in the "social construction of reality?"
One of my favourite artists, Magritte's work. I like how all his backgrounds and figures are so realistic, yet what they are doing is impossible.

'The Lovers' - Rene Magritte (1928) - The veils worn by the two figures allow the viewer to attribute any face to the figure and therefore the beauty of the subjects cannot be questioned.
