Magic Window Cleaner: No towel drying, no streaks, no spots! Fill an empty spray bottle with: 1 tablespoon liquid "Jet Dry" 3 tablespoons blue Dawn dish soap Fill to the top with water, shake. Spray your wet windows with the solution, scrub all over with a sponge, immediately wash off, that's it!

While I stitched this piece, I found myself dreaming of reds, blues, purples .... a collection of colors stitched across the sky, like the sunset outside my kitchen window. It is made from recycled wool sweaters, which I wash in hot water until they shrink to a tight wool felt. It is embellished with wool stitching and antique buttons, and it has a silk border. This little quilt was featured in Quilting Arts magazine (Interweave Press). It is the eleventh item in my Pieces of Dreams series…
