Instructions how to make orejas, also known as palmiers in France and palmeras in other parts of Latin America. This popular Mexican pan dulce has only three ingredients: puff pastry, cinnamon and sugar. Recipe on theothersideofthetortilla.com.
Eating Pan Dulce brings me back to my childhood when my older sister and I would spend one or two weekends a year with our grandmother in Los Angeles. These weekends sometimes included a new Madame Alexander doll for our birthday, frequently included a shopping trip to Olvera street, and ALWAYS included pan dulce and mexican hot chocolate she frothed with a molinillo. This is my favorite childhood memory!
