Jen took her son's drawings, blew them up in Photoshop, printed them in larger sizes, TRACED THEM ONTO FABRIC, and turned them into a duvet for his bed. GENIUS! (Read this on the Young House Love blog.) I don't know a single kid who wouldn't ADORE this. you could also make it into a great graduation or wedding gift or even just a way to preserve art work for yourself.... yay!
Freezer paper stencils. Use sharpies or fabric markers to scribble in the design instead of fabric paint. No waiting for paint to dry, so good idea for a Brownie meeting, since they can take them home right away.
DIY craft Quote Scarf. So easy and fun, and inexpensive! Got the white blank scarf from Hobby Lobby for around 6 dollars, but I'm sure you could find a cheaper one. It took more phrases and lyrics than expected, but so happy with how it turned out! Sewed the edges together at the end to make it a circle infinity scarf, but either way it is beautiful. I used two sharpies/fabric markers, so that the writing wouldn't get too light. Perfect craft, gift, fun project!
