Karen Carpenter...RIP....so beautiful!

The unmistakeable, angelic and inimitable voice belonging to Karen Carpenter went silent here on this earth 34 years ago today. I will always be grateful to my parents for playing The Carpenter's records. One of my happiest memories is of Mom playing their vinyl lps on Saturday mornings while we cleaned the house. Gone too soon. Way too soon. -jdw
