Jael took action against the enemy, Sisera. She had the opportunity to end the suffering and stop the bloodshed of God's people. Jael used wisdom and used her advantage over the enemy to gain his trust and moved quickly. She then took the opportunity to kill Sisera and stop the reign of terror and winning the war.

In a male-dominated culture, Deborah did not let her power go to her head but used her authority as God guided her. Deborah gave glory to God when He gave her the victory.
