Squash - USDA does NOT recommend canning (both water bath & pressure cooker) any summer squash.  They've pulled all their printed info on the subject because there were discrepancies in the  processing times (anywhere from 40 min. to 90 min.).  They recommend freezing or dehydrating.

Used a large squash, two tablespoons of brown sugar instead of 1 tablespoons of white. Added a large sweet onion, used 6 cups of chicken broth instead of the 4 and 2 cups of water. Didn't use the garlic or shallot.
