Love this "country hearth" layout with a conversation area in the kitchen. I would love to have an area like this with maybe 6 big chairs, a fireplace, and a tv above the fireplace in the kitchen for people to hang out and talk. LOVE.
Designer Libby Langon made this open-concept kitchen feel so much warmer by adding an eye-catching "hearth", impactful lighting and appliances that blend. She also advises to recognize the conversation space: "In a kitchen with a large open floor plan, valuable living space often goes unused. Turn it into a small sitting spot perfect for people to relax, have drinks, and talk while others are cooking." - HouseBeautiful.com
