Modern colorful pendant light, stone banded orb • Hand blown glass made to order by Siemon & Salazar Measures: 9" T x 9" W. Born from a love of color, these striking pieces draw inspiration from the rich hues and undulating topography of Southern California. Alternating layers of opaque and transparent colors are applied to clear glass. Overlaps create opportunities for new colors to be formed, which adds to the depth of the pieces. The intense color is then complemented by the simple shape.

Triptych Stem - "The Hayward Gallery asked me to design a light piece to sit alongside their Light Show. I came up with the idea of a triptych of glass stacking lights. I took my inspiration from my fascination of Asian and Moroccan finials and spires. I'm really pleased with them and really like the combination of the dark walnut discs with the vibrant hand-blown glass." Esther Patterson, Designer
