When I have to do a shoot on the beach, or at a crazy party, or to tell a story about pop culture on the road, the combo that I want to use is Watts lens + Big Up film! It's perfect for these kinds of photo shoots, with its vibrant and saturated colors, strong contrast and the particular tape and DIY film. Finally, the Bondi HipstaPak is the only combo to use for the #shhhhh shots! Well, shhhhh and big up!

I decided to use the John S lens because it produces strong vignetting and was perfect for me because I wanted to isolate the figure from the context. I chose the AO BW film for the white frame and as the original description from Hipstamatic says: 'Tone your photo physique and max out with the brawny black and white'.

I decided to include 3 indoor shots and 3 outdoor shots to demonstrate how this combo works in these two extremely different situations. Firstly, I like this combo because I shoot 99% in black and white. I prefer this film because the frame is thin, not too intrusive, the image looks clear and it has a slightly grainy finish. Using the James M lens is a bit like putting an orange filter on the lens and I really love the results.
