Nell'antica Roma, il 10 ottobre si celebrava Giunone Moneta (Colei che Ammonisce). Questo nome, più che ricordarci un ammonimento, ci fa subito venire alla mente un bel soldino luccicante, e in fondo non siamo poi troppo sulla cattiva strada... Fu proprio nei pressi del tempio di Giunone Moneta, sul Campidoglio, che venne infatti costruita la zecca, dove si coniavano i soldi. Per questo motivo l'appellativo della dea passò alle monete, che ancora oggi si chiamano così in memoria di Giunone.
La Dea Giunione finalmente restaurata, parte del complesso delle 4 Fontane. Dea Giunone fountain finally restored!

thevaliardmansion: Punching out some Theodore sketches to get a feel for who he is. It’s tough because the character has shaped his identity around his father. Take that away and what’s left? Who is he really? Theodore doesn’t know in the story, but I sure as heck don’t know in real life. And it’s holding me back in writing the next chapter. Time to remedy that. ;) Also, I love drawing Kid Theodore. Big ears, big eyebrows and dat butten nose. So fun to draw! :]
