This lampshade was designed for use on a beautiful 1870's New York manufactured stoneware jug. The shade is a late 19th century style covered with an American reprint of a1860's fabric from the Civil war collection. The earth tones with cranberry red dots on the cotton print, with corresponding egg corn trim & fringe go beautifully with the jug for a wonderful refined country styled lamp . The electrics of the lamp are exterior wired preserving the jug perfectly for future generations.
