This set of FREE Christmas equation cards can be used by a variety of ages as a fun Christmas challenge to build algebraic thinking. Or you can use them as a fun way to introduce systems of equations in Algebra.

Challenge students fourth grade and up to solve these Christmas equations. They'll be building their algebraic reasoning skills without even realizing it!

Students each found the area of their sector and the length of the arc. Then they moved around the classroom to find other students who made a complete circle. When they added the area of their sectors they got the area of the circle, and the arc lengths added up to the circumference. Fun in middle school Geometry!
