Many asked us where the inspiration for the Palascia products come from. And our answer is quite a simple one. We constantly search the archives and talk to the great artisans of Salento, this land with centuries of craft traditions that is at the very heart of everything we do.

This is what for us means true luxury: unique products that appeal to a discerning, experienced eye. As usual when we're talking to artisans, it was an eye-opening experience. Mrs Castellan has a true feel for what works and doesn't, what technique belongs to one school or another.

The bold contrast of colours (yellow, green, the most vivid blue, all obtained with entirely natural dyes) and the delicacy of the patterns amazed us.
