Eremo di Santo Spirito a Majella nel Roccamorice, Abruzzo: The hermitage of the "Holy Spirit" was a monastery of the Congregation of the Celestine which is on the Majella, in the municipality of Roccamorice, and is an Italian national monument.

Capestrano nel Aquila, Abruzzo - The Church of St. Peter ad Oratorium was built at the behest of the Lombard king, Desiderio. Its construction dates back to 752, when it is mentioned as a possession of the Benedictine monks of San Vincenzo al Volturno. The Lombard period are visible traces of some reliefs placed above the portal. Also of considerable importance is the word palindrome of "Sator Square".

Lanciano nel CH: Sanctuary of the Eucharistic Miracle of Lanciano In 1258 on the foundation of an older church was built the shrine of St. Francis, in the central part of Lanciano city centre: it is now called the Shrine of the Eucharistic Miracle because the relics of an extraordinary miracle. Legend has it that for centuries, in the old church of San Legonziano (on which was later built the sanctuary) lived a monaco who had concerns about the nature of Christ in the Eucharist.

Santuario Volto Santo di Manoppello nel Manoppello, Abruzzo: The Manoppello Image is an image of a face on a cloth, and claims of its being related to the Veil of Veronica have been made. According to local tradition, an anonymous pilgrim arrived in 1508 with the cloth inside a wrapped package. The pilgrim gave it to Dr. Giacomo Antonio Leonelli, who was sitting on a bench in front of the church.

San Clemente a Casauria Abbey - Tocco da Casauria nel Pescara, Abruzzo: The abbey was founded in 871 by Louis II, grand-grandson of Charlemagne, after a vow made during his imprisonment in the Duchy of Benevento. Initially entitled to the Holy Trinity, it was dedicated to St. Clement when the latter's remain were brought here in 872.
