A book page star. I saw this on Instagram and I wanted to recreate it and I'm also using a book page but you could use scrapbook paper. You could use any type of paper. So, I used an old book from a thrift store, okay? Then, you're just going to cut them into squares. So, it does not matter what size that they are. Just the bigger that they are, the bigger your star will be, okay? So, I did mine. They're, I think they're about four or five inches by five inches and you're going to do five of them, okay? So, the easiest way to make a square is just you know, fold the page over and cut it into a square, okay? So, I'm going to do this pretty slow but you might need to rewind this and watch it over a few times but you're just going to fold two of the corners in to make a point like you see me doing here, okay? Then, you're going to take that top flap and you are going to fold it down, okay? Once you do that, you're take both of the sides left and right and then you're going to fold them down and in and that's it that last little flap there that I did we're going to go ahead and we're going to glue that with a little bit of hot glue we're going to do this to all five of them okay so I'll show me doing one more and then I'm going to cut ahead so that you're not watching me do all five of these so you guys could use any type of card stock any type of scrap of paper would be super pretty you could think Christmas scrapbook paper glitter scrap of paper, anything. You can make these in so many different styles and make em really really pretty. You can make them ornaments to go on your tree. You could make a banner of them or you can make a garland. Guys, the possibilities are endless. I think these are just the most fun, adorable little stars and I plan on making a ton of them. I'm definitely going to be making a cute little garland. So, I'm just doing the same thing here that I did with the first one. Um I'm doing it pretty slow here so you can see and then you just repeat that process over and over again with all five of your squares, okay? So once you have that all done you're going to kind of open them up. So see how you hear how it has that little like lift part. You're going to open it up and like flatten them out. Okay? So I lift and open and then flatten it. Okay? So that it's that shape. So then you just do that with all five of them. So you open it and flatten it. Open it and flatten it. Open it and flatten it. Yeah like my little song. So see. You just do that to all of them. Okay. Now we're going to glue them together. So that part that we just open and flattened. We're going to put a little bit of hot glue there. K. And we're going to glue it to the next one. Alright? So we're just going to take all of them and we're just going to glue them all right on top of each other. I ran out of glue. So take that one. Then we're going to glue that one right on top. So they're all the exact same shape. They fit together perfectly. You just take them in glue one on top of the other. Until you have all five of them glued together. Okay? So once you have all five of them glued together you're going to glue on the backside. So you're going to glue on the back and then you're going to take it and wrap it around until it makes a star. So cute. Look, that one was do not not have any book page writing on it. I think the back of it even looks cute, doesn't it? So, I hope that you make some of these you guys. They're super easy.
