Bagnone ~ is a dramatic-looking stone village perched in the northern Tuscan Apennines in Italy. Halfway down, on the left-hand side, is a lovely restaurant (green roof) where I ate memorable antipasti with my friends Jon & Renee Bergtheil.
The beautiful village of Ariccia is located 20 miles Southeast of Rome, and is home of Auburn University’s Joseph S. Bruno Auburn Abroad In Italy program, sponsored by the College of Human Sciences. Students spend a life changing inspirational semester abroad immersed in Italian culture. The campus and student living quarters are located in the Palazzo Chigi, designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, the world renowned architect, master sculptor and painter of the 17th century
Villa d’Este – Tivoli Italy. The Villa d'Este is a villa in Tivoli, near Rome, Italy. Listed as a UNESCO world heritage site, it is a fine example of Renaissance architecture and the Italian Renaissance garden.
