Santol: The santol is believed native to former Indochina and Peninsular Malaysia, and to have been introduced into India, Borneo, Indonesia, the Moluccas, Mauritius, and the Philippines where it has become naturalized. It is commonly cultivated throughout these regions and the fruits are seasonally abundant in the local markets

Philippines "SPANISH PLUM" or Sinigwelas or Sargwelas in Filipino terms. Maybe one of those fruits we have inherited from the Spanish colonization era in the Philippines. We have this fruit tree growing for years in my late grandparents' house :-) in Ilocos Sur.

Lanzones one of my favourite fruits from the Philippines. I have no idea if it's found somewhere else in the world but this fruit is one of the reasons I love going back home. It's mainly found in the CALABARZON region in Luzon and it's a really yummy fruit but be careful not to bite the seed because it's so bitter it'll spoil the taste of the fruit. - I tried it once too many times.
