My board is about the holiday destination of Tenerife.
It has a number of different tourist attractions such as the water parks, climbing the mountains and a lively night life.
It has many restaurants which serve a numerous of different cuisines from different cultures from around the world including Indian, Mexican and Italian.
It has sandy beaches which parts of are black as the island is part of a volcano which makes it a unique place to go.
This is one of the restaurants I have eaten in. It serves traditional Spanish cuisine such as paella but also serves traditional English food. The unique aspect of this restaurant is the balcony over looking the sea which provides amazing views.
Loro Parque is a 13.5-hectare zoo located on the outskirts of Puerto de la Cruz on Tenerife, Spain where it houses an extensive and diverse reserve of animal and plant species. The attraction Park has dolphins which have always been a favourite with visitors as they perform their shows in the largest dolphin pool in Europe also theres the orca whales which is a new attraction to the park.
Tourism is an essential part of the economy of the Canary Islands.Tourism creates employment for the local people. Tourists visiting local attractions such as water parks and animal parks brings in money for the local companies allowing them to develop there interesting attractions/theme parks etc. However the congestion of tourists has caused a lot of pollution such as noise pollution at night. They also cause erosion to paths and rock formations and cause damage to local monuments.

This is parc de la paz hotel in Tenerife which i have stayed in several times myself.Along with a pool, bar and restaurant on site, all the holiday essentials are within effortless reach of these popular apartments. In a flat area, just minutes away from the beach, you're surrounded by shops, bars and eateries in several local complexes. Longer strolls will take you along the promenade to Los Cristianos or to the Veronicas entertainment centre, 10 minutes' walk away.
Here on Tenerife the natural beaches are of black volcanic sand. They look very different to the ones in Britain where they are yellow sand, shingle, pebbles or rocks. The black sand looks very exotic and in many ways it is because Tenerife is one of the Canary Islands and off the coast of North Africa. The black sand is made from ground down basalt and other dark volcanic rocks and these islands are all formed from volcanoes.
