Did You know how the name Emporio Armani came to be? Giorgio Armani personally chose the word “Emporio” to be used within his new line, launched in the early 1980s. The reasoning behind this choice was to introduce accessible fashion for all, at a fair price: a transversal brand acting as a container - where anyone can find something and make it their own.

In 2007, David Beckham caused a stir when he posed for a series of highly stylised black-and-white pictures, for Emporio Armani Underwear, shot by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
