699K views · 53K reactions | Let’s normalize childhood. Not the polished version. Not the quiet, tidy, easy-to-manage kind. But the real thing. Here are 10 things we forget are completely normal in childhood: 1. Being loud 2. Making messes (a lot of them) 3. Moving constantly—wiggling, jumping, spinning 4. Taking forever to do simple things 5. Having big emotions over small problems 6. Wanting to do it “by myself!” 7. Interrupting when you’re mid-sentence 8. Asking the same question 10 different ways 9. Needing connection more than discipline 10. Learning through play, not performance If your child is doing these things, they’re not broken. They’re not behind. They’re becoming. #letkidsbekids #liveleaflearn #HomeschoolMom #Homeschooling #childhoodunplugged #gentleparenting #c

5.5K reactions · 414 shares | It reminds me of nerds candy… but it’s couscous! 🌈 It’s such a fun base and so easy to make! Just add your couscous to a container or bag with a few drops of food coloring and shake to coat. Add more food coloring until you get your desired color coverage! (I used pearl couscous) I did 1 cup of each color and it made a lot since I plan to send some to school with J. Let it fully dry (it dries really quickly so I just leave it in the container to dry). Once it’s dry, add it all to a bin with vehicles, fine motor tools, and have fun! #sensorybin #sensoryactivity #kidsactivities #preschoolactivities #playbasedlearning #preschool #easyplayactivities #sensoryplay | Jessie | Facebook

Sibia Torres Padilla | DIYs on Instagram: "a trashy faux stained glass using a clear spinach container. It’s pretty simple, you make the outlines using puffy paint, the colors by mixing mod Podge and food coloring, and add pressed florals using mod podge. If you want it to last longer you can use gallery glass paints instead When the mod podge dries it really does resemble glass. I added some stakes by cutting up a wire hanger from my closet and They were ready to go in my plants. What do you think of this upcycle craft?"
