PETTOLE – SAVORY FRITTERS 1 kg regular flour 800-900 luke warm water 25 g sea salt 10 g brewer yeast 10 g castor sugar Mix in a bowl with salt and sugar. Melt brewer yeast into the water and add it. Knead the dough until it becomes smooth. Let it rise for 8 hrs. Use a spoon to take a small amount of dough, immerse the spoon in a glass of oil each time, deep fry it in abundant hot oil until it gets a golden colour. Add sugar on top (if you like).
