Globe published by J. Lebegue 30 Rue de Lille Paris in the second half of the nineteenth century, in addition to well-defined territorial map it depicts the ocean currents and the major trade routes of the period. Turned and ebonized wooden base, papier mache sphere. Very good condition, little restoration. Height 60 cm, diameter 32 cm diameter.

The prime meridian, or the zero meridian passes through Paris, in fact only in 1911 France adopted the Greenwich meridian. Base in ebonized wood and paper mache, paper mache sphere, plaster and paper. Very good condition and excellent readability, some small restoration. height 46 cm, 22 cm diameter sphere.
