Jimmy Nelson is a portrait photographer who has travelled the globe documenting some of the remaining indigenous cultures left in the world today. Untitled.  Edward Honaker is a contemporary Californian based portrait and wedding photographer.  In this untitled series of self portraits he uses studio lighting and digital techniques to convey his own experience with depression.  His images carry a sense that people struggling with a mental illness can often fade into the background unnoticed.

Alejandro Duran. Brotes (Shoots), 2014.  Alejandro Duran is visual artist from Mexico City. His series 'Washed Up: Transforming a Trashed A Landscape' looks at the increasing  problem of plastic pollution washing up on the coasts of Mexico. Throughout this project he has identified waste arriving from 50 different countries.  He creates vibrant colourful plastic sculptures to heighten awareness of this growing environmental concern.
