"In Memoriam" - Victorian & Early 20th Century Mourning
Statue is named Ethyl and she resides in Lawnswood cemetery. The slightly ajar doors are what make it particularly odd and ever so scary.

Milford CT Cemetery Nathan Baldwin; March 18, 1824-May 20, 1898. Although the grief stricken marble statue is encased in glass; dirt has managed to work it's way into the enclosure. Bronze figures are on each corner.

Witch Trials - The Giles Cory Marker on Crystal Lake in Peabody, Massachusetts, in the midst of what was previously Corey’s 150-acre property. - The only victim of the Salem Witch Trials to have died as a result of torture on September 19, 1692. Cory, whose wife Martha would hang three days later, was generally cantankerous, over eighty years old, and a wealthy landower. He refused to cooperate with his torturers and is even said to have asked for “more weight”.
