In Park Hyatt Tokyo's lower lobby, an open globe sculpture by Brit Anthony Donaldson (note the 'watch' that looks left behind) as is a paintbox (the gal thinks of the J Seward Johnson people-sculptures in the grounds of other luxury hotels, Four Seasons Dublin and Four Seasons Los Angeles)

Look how it flows, like a wave that crashes in, crashes out, and the flow cuts in up, so to speak, right into the ceiling. Impossible to describe. The assorted-reds carpet also flows like waves.

As with all luxury hotels in Japan, Swissôtel Nantai Osaka has a Shinto marriage hall (and, unusually, two separate Christian halls, already set up with white flowers and pianos)

At fine luxury hotels such as the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo, no detais is overlooked. This is what you see looking down through the 'face hole' of one of the spa's beds.
