An anciently rustic necklace created from a fabulous piece of driftwood, found by my wonderful friend @mandamoo on the beach at Culzean Castle in Scotland. The centre of the wood is wrapped with a piece of antique linen, which I dyed naturally with Yarrow, and then wrapped this round various pieces of iron, to get this rust dyed appearance. Hanging from this are various hand carved and textured faux bone porcelain amulets, which give this item a very tribal appearance. The central drop also includes an antique veterbrae, probably from a sheep, together with some utterly gorgeous raw semi precious stones which I bought from the lovely @beadbuyer. The collar of the necklace has been created from a length of cork, wrapped in hand dyed and hand spun wool, with a top wrapping of the rust dyed
